Mackenzie is an Akimel A-Al Rattler this year!
She gets up every morning to train for cross country @ 6:30am.
Not being much of a morning person has given her daddy(morning duty) some extra challenges, but taught her dedication & helped her become a stronger athlete.
Her 1st meet Thursday September 9, 2010 against Altadenna was fun!
Adam & I have NEVER been & enjoyed experiencing this together as 1st timers.
6Th, 7Th & 8Th graders competed all together......girls vs. girls & boys vs. boys.
Overall Mackenzie was 5Th for Akimel. (We are still not sure on the overall between both schools....I will edit this post once i know!
We are so proud of her hard work & commitment!
