My Mackenzie Marie is quite the Tween these days...everyone who has been around her enough knows that over the past 6 months she has completely transformed her "look".
She set the style in 5th grade that t-shirts & basketball shorts w/ a pony tail & under armor head band was rockin.
Now here we are in 6th grade (middle school) rockin the cutest jeans, earrings, perfume, vans etc...
However, she will still go to school in the 5th grade sporty wardrobe w/ no fear!
I love it!
Poor Bear has been fighting the flu, mono, tendinitis in her rotator cuff (PT 2x per week) & now an upper respiratory infection.
We have had her rested, drinking tons of fluids, on ZPac, breathing treatments & in PT to recover our girl for our trip to Vegas Friday.
She missed her 1st track meet & that kills her more than all of the sickness I listed above.
I keep trying to get her to understand that she has plenty more games, practices, track meets etc & that she needs to listen to her body & heal. Her impatient attitude is rockin also! ;)
Mackenzie is so incredibly adored by her 6 teachers, teammates, students, parents of friends.
She just told me that 2 different boys came up to her @ school & told her they "liked" her...Oh boy....Adam better be ready...these years are coming so quickly. Before we know it she will be going to prom!
