Congrats to our Original Sandlot All stars!
The boys played in an 11u majors MLK tournament & won!!! Our team is the "original" & 1st Sandlot.....it has branched off to 9u & 11u teams & we ended up playing the 11u Sandlot for the championship!
It was one of the closest & intense tourneys my blood pressure has experienced!
We have 8, 9 & 10 year old on our team & are by far the smallest team around Big League Dreams (and almost everywhere we play). It blows my mind how the level up (11u) doubles in size of our boys!
The competition is starting to get harder, but it is great for our boys to have a challenge & learn what it's like to really work for all of their victories!!
I love our Sandlot family.....they all completely "get" & "understand" our SPORTY lifestyle....some people totally get it...others can't at all.
It's nice to have families you spend cpuntless games, innings, weekends with that share the same love & lifestyle :)
