Election Day

All day today I kept trying to get to my precinct to vote. With Adam being out of town I found each opportunity as the day went on getting harder & harder, but I was determined to cast my vote! (note to self ***next election early ballot!) So I kept asking Kael if he wanted to go vote with mommy?! He would say "eess" and then carry on playing with his new fire truck. We finally walked right up...no line and he looked right at the woman who took my ID and said "I boat" "I boat"! And that we did! Kael on my hip....I boated (voted)! It feels so good to have the right to vote! My daily sidekick & I both left proud with our "We the People" stickers!
