Today was Mya's first day in Advanced Level 1 at Desert Star Gymnastic Center. She was tested last week on different skills on the paper above. She started a few months ago and is building great upper body strength and confidence! This was my all time favorite sport as a child (and no...I'm not living through my daughter...well not yet anyways!) I lived at the gym Monday-Saturday 3 hours each night....I couldn't get enough. I wish I could have continued into college, but financially this is an expensive sport and being one of 6 children....it was way to time consuming and pricey! I told Adam when we first signed her up that if she falls in love with it like I did...he better not plan on retiring at 50! Hopefully she continues having fun and movin' on up!
