So we've been out here in Maricopa for 3 years now! I fall in love with it more & more for many different reasons almost weekly. Yesterday was a great example of why I could stay out here forever! We started the day off at a The Richardson's home for Victoria's 5th bday party and enjoyed the gorgeous aftrenoon with many of the incredible friends that we've made through MOMs club & the neighborhood. Then we headed to Founders Day (Maricopa's 5th birthday too). ...Where Mya performed an adorable dance and Mackenzie & Kaeden were passing out flyers to vote "YES on 5"...already getting them politically involved! Kaeden ran into Big Red from the AZ Cardinals and I ran into so many people we know! It feels so good to be part of a small town that is growing and experience the journey!
It was quite windy, but we decided to stay and meet up with Lisa, Phil, Brooklyn & Linda for the concert & fireworks. One of the most comforting things out here in the Cope is that my bestfriend from Rhodes Jr. high and her hubby moved out here too! Why would we even consider leaving? Everything we need is out here! Each other, best friends and most of our family is within driving distance!
